The team at Linthwaite House, Bowness, in the Lake District, part of the Leeu Collection, is today (06 October) celebrating international recognition in the Condé Nast Traveller 2026 UK Readers’ Choice Awards.

Leeu Collection’s UK flagship, Linthwaite House, was proudly ranked No. 12 in the ‘Rest of the UK’ category, building on last year’s success by moving up one place and once again being recognised as the leading hotel in the Lake District.

The Condé Nast Traveller Readers’ Choice Awards, the travel industry’s longest-running and most prestigious accolades, continue to represent an ultimate symbol of excellence in global travel. This year, more than 296,356 survey responses were received from readers across the United Kingdom, who rated their travel experiences around the world, providing a comprehensive insight into the destinations and properties they are most eager to revisit.
